BAPPA RAWAL

Bappa Rawal was the founder of Mewar Rajya (empire). He was the eighth ruler of
Guhilot Dynasty (vansh). Bappa Rawal, the most powerful Yodha (warrior) of Rajasthan
and a Mahaan Yodha of Bharat. Bappa Rawal also known with other name: Kalbhoj.
Bappa Rawal (Kalbhoj) was born in 713 in Nagda region, according to Mewar
Vishavkosh (encyclopedia). He was raised by Aya (maiden). It is hard to find the exact
time of his birth.
Bappa’s father was Rawal Mahindra-2 of Guhilot Dynasty, and his mother was a nice
woman. Rawal Mahindra-2 was Seventh ruler of Guhilot family (dynasty). And, Guhilot
family (clan) came from Vallabhai, nowadays in Gujrat. Bappa’s mother was a daughter
of Parmara King of Parmara Raj (kingdom), a rajput clan. Rawal Mahindra Ruled from
Nagda, a southern part of Rajasthan.
Rawal Mahendra was assassinated in 716. Bappa Rawal was about 3 years old at the
time of his father’s death. Few Bheel People took Bappa and her mother to a safer
place in village around Nagda region. There was a Mandir (temple) of God Shiva and
Harit Rishi was a priest of that Mandir (temple). After few months, Mother of Kalbhoj
(Bappa Rawal) gave him to the wife of priest (pujari). Bappa’s mother committed Sati
(to die in a pyre) and she died too.
Bappa Rawal raised by Aya (maiden) in Nagda Region. He was raised in the Bheel
Kabila (tribe). Bheel Chief and Bheel Warriors taught Bappa military and war skills.
Bheel People are known as great archer of Bharat. After the death of Bappa’s mother
and father, Bappa got only true friendship from his Bheel friends. His aya raised him in
a good manner.
Harit Rishi taught him about Hindu Religion and Eklingji Temple. Harit Rishi blessed
Bappa Rawal at Eklingji Temple. Eklingji is a religious site of Mewar Rajya.
Nowadays, Udaipur is a center of Mewar Rajya. Arvind Singh Mewar is a present
Maharana (king) of Mewar Rajya (empire).
When Bappa Rawal was in his young age, his aya and chief of Bheel Tribe told
him the truth about his life. They told Bappa that he is not a Bheel, but he is a prince of
Guhilot Family. Bheel people did everything to protect him and to form his military.
Bappa Rawal had become king when he was 18 years old. The tradition of Rajtilak
(kingship) performed by his two Bheel Chief friends with the blood drawn from their
palms. These Bheel Chiefs were Balia and Dev. This tradition of Rajtilak took place in
Chittorgarh. Chittorgarh is a heart of Mewar. Bappa Rawal got lots of help from his
Bheel warriors and Bheel Chiefs to raise his army.
Bappa Rawal married with his love one in Chittorgarh. His wife was a nice and beautiful
princess at that time. Bappa’s wife played a great role in his life as a great wife. After
his marriage, Bappa Rawal never saw back. He began to form his Mewar Rajya with the
great support of his Bheel Warriors and military. Bheel were the right hand of Mewar Raj.
Bappa Rawal raised his sword against the evil invaders from Afghanistan, Persia (Iran),
and Arab. Bappa Rawal fought many wars against Arabs invaders and Muslum
Religious Hippocrates. Mewar Rajya and Bheel Rajya never bend their knees in front of
muslum invaders. Bappa Rawal fought bravely against Arab and Iranian invaders, and
through them out of Bharat. Bappa Rawal won Saraswati Valley (used to be called
Indus Valley). Bappa had won whole Sarswati Valley, Sind, and Afghanistan.
Bappa Rawal Supported Hindi Culture (Bhartya culture). He respected and protected
Hindi (hindu) Religion and Bhartya culture. Bappa Rawal established a great Mewar
Raj. Mewar is world’s longest ruling Raj (empire). Bapa Rawal and his wife gave great
principles of morality to Mewar Rajya with the help Bheel Chiefs, Bheel People, and Harit
Rishi.
Bappa Rawal and his wife formed one of the most famous and Mahaan Mewar Rajya of
Bharat. Only Mewar have come to such a great power after Harshvardhan’s Rajya
(empire). At the end in Mewar Rajya, the spirit of Bappa Rawal left his body. It is hard
to find the time of a death of Bappa Rawal Sisodia. May be, that time is lost somewhere
in Mewar Rajya. A big part of a life of Bappa Rawal and his wife is still missing in the
history of Bharat.
I don’t know about the whole lifetime of a wife of Bappa Rawal (Mewar Rani). May be,
Historians of Bharat did not express a lots about the wife of Bappa. I believe that both
Bappa and his Rani (wife) deserved equal respect. Bappa Rawal and his Rani gave a
great direction to Mewar Rajya that had protected Bharat from its evil foreign enemies.
