Raja Ralhansi was a great king of Khogong. Raja Ralhansi was among the great kings of Union
of Meena Kingdoms. Around 920 ( in Tenth Century), Raja Ralhansi used to rule Khogong of
Meena tribe.
The great Meena king Ralhansi adopted a Rajput Woman and her son, Dhola Rae. Dhola Rai, son
of Sodh Dev, came from Gwalior because his cousin Jai Singh conspired against Dhola Rai.
Dhola Rai was forced to leave his kingdom. Later on, Ralhansi sent Dhola Rai to Delhi to
represent Khogong Rajya (empire) and its people. Dhola Rai changed his mind in Delhi. Dhola
Rai and his corrupt supporters came back to Khogong with conspiracy against Ralhansi. Dhola
Rae killed Ralhansi and his Vansh (family) on the Diwali Night.
FACTS & KATHA (STORY) OF RALHANSI:
Ralhansi was a great raja (king) of Khogong. At that time, there were many Raja (kings) of
Meena People. These Kings of Meena Cities were Ralhansi of Khogong, Soosawat Raja of
Amber City, and Nandla Meena of Gator Gatti. Soosawat Meena King of Amber was the head of
all Meena Kingdoms. These rajya (kingdoms) were not very big. Ralhansi was great king as well
as innocent. He was very friendly and true believer of Amba Devi.
Ralhansi made two biggest mistakes in his life. First, Ralhansi trusted rajput prince Dhola Rai
(Duleh Rai) of Kechwah Dynasty. Ralhansi adopted Dhola Rai and invited in into his palace.
Dhola Rai betrayed Ralhansi. Dhola Rai killed Ralhansi and his Vansh (family). Dhola Rai
Destroyed the Khogong City, dominated by Meena People.
Second, Ralhansi made another mistake that he trusted Amba Devi, holy mother. In Hindi or
Hindu Religion Amba Devi is incarnation of Durga Devi. Amba Devi did not protect Ralhansi
and his Vansh (family). Amba failed to protect Ralhansi and people of Khogong. Many Meena
People fled during Khogong Battle, but most of people were killed by Dhola’s army. Did Amba
Devi also betray Ralhansi, her true believer?
“So, this is great people are killed ruthlessly by selfish people in the age of Kaliyuga (Dark age)”.
Kaliyuga is a time where great people become the target of selfish people because this is a
kaliyuga, a time where evil is becoming more stronger than humans.
People thought Ralhansi died, but he is still alive in the heart of Meena People. His name
survives in the books, in Rajasthan, and in Khogong.

MEENA ITIHAAS AND RAJASTHAN

There was a time when Meena People used to rule the great land of Rajasthan.”,
Prithvi Veer.
The history of Meena People is almost forgotten in Bharat. Even today, many Meena
People are not aware about their great past. Meena People were the original people
(inhabitant) of Rajasthan just like Bheel People. The cities of Meena People had been
destroyed and their land had been taken away from them.
There used to be lots of Meena People, but most of them were killed. Now, Meena
People are known as Meena Tribal People because they are among the Hindi (hindu)
Minority People.
Amba Devi is a name of goddess of Meena People. Many Meena People like to say
Sheetala Mata, but Amba Devi is the real name. Amba Mata or Amba Devi is an
incarnation of Durga Devi, wife of God Bhairoo (Shiva).
Now, Meena People are abandoned by many Hindi Societies. Meena People are Hindi
(hindu) People. Meena People don’t get equal respect because they are declared as
the lower social class of Rajasthan. According to the Constitution of Bharat, Meena
People should have the equal right to live in a society, and no one has any right to insult
them in Bharat. No one has any right to call Meena People a ‘Shudra’,
untouchable.

Bharat = India.
Rajya = Kingdom.
Madhya Kaal = Medieval Time.

Kingdoms of Meena People:
There were four major rajya (kingdoms) of Meena People. Each of these kingdoms had
established their own territory and they were united under the command of Amber Rajya,
kingdom of Amber. All the kingdoms of Meena People were united as a Meena
Confederation under the command of Amber Rajya. These people were very civilized
and cultural.
1. Amber Meena Rajya: This rajya (kingdom) was ruled by Soosawat Meena People
and these people were the real builder of Amber Region.
2. Khogong Meena Rajya:
This rajya was ruled by Lalsot Meena People. Ralhansi was king of Khogong Rajya.
Ralhansi was a great worshiper of Amba Devi. They used to rule Khogong Region few
kilometers from Amber City or Region.
3. Nandala Meena Rajya:
This Rajya was ruled by Nandala Meena People. They were the ruler of Gattore Gati
Region.
4. Siroh Meena Rajya:
The history of this rajya is almost vanished. This rajya (kingdom) was ruled by Siroh
Meena People.

Meena People during Madhya Kaal:
Meena People played a great role in the History of Rajasthan. Many Rajput Kingdoms
were erected or established at the expense of Meena People. Even, Dhundar (or Jaipur)
kingdom of Kechawah was built by killing hundred of thousands of Meena People.
NOTE: The Itihaas of Rajasthan does not express a lot about Meena People and Bheel
People. Meena People are the second oldest people of Rajasthan.
Social Life of Meena People in Madhya Kaal:
Meena People were mostly farmer and used to raise cattles and sheeps. There were
Lots of villages of Meena People. There were many kingdoms of Meena People and
these people used to live in cities and villages. They had Hindi Traditions (hindu).
Meena People used to worship Amba Devi. During this time, there were many Meena
Kingdoms, principality, and villages.
Among the most famous kingdoms of Meena were Amber Rajya and Khogong Rajya.
Amber was ruled by Soosawat Meena People. They built Amber in the name of Amba
Devi, incarnation of Durga Devi, according to Hindi Religion (hindu). Around 950 ADE,
Soosawat Meena People were the ruler of Amber Region (city).
NOTE: The kingdom of Amber was not very big in area. At that time, there was not
enough support for this kingdom except by other Meena kingdoms. Only, Meena
kingdoms were supporters of each other.
NOTE: Around 950 ADE, the Hindi society was divided in many classes, such as, higher
and lower. Rajput People used to express themselves as the higher ruling class. Most
of the Brahman People and Rajput kingdoms had no respect for Lower Class Rajputs
and other hindi minorities (Harijan). So, Meena People did not get any support from
other Rajput Kingdoms.
At some point, many Rajput rulers were very greedy because the Brahman People were
responsible to create a hateful attitude against Meena and Bheel People. Brahman and
Rajput People had killed thousands of Meena People because Rajput wanted to control
the land of Meena People.
The Khogong Rajya of Lalsot Meena was the second most powerful Rajya of Meena
People. Lalsot Meena People fought first battle against Dhola Rai of Kechawah Clan.
Dhola Rai was a greedy man who began to take control over Meena Rajya of Khogong.
First, Dhola Rai had attacked upon the Lalsot Meena of Khogong and destroyed their
kingdom. This is how the Rajya and Civilization of Meena People had been destroyed
by Dhola Rai.

Meena People and Terror of Muslum Invaders:
Around 999-1000 ADE, Mahmud of Ghazni attacked some parts of Rajasthan. Msulum
Invaders did not care about anything when they attack upon Bharat. It is true fact that
when Mahmud of Ghazni had attacked Bharat, he killed many Meena People in central
Rajasthan. Many People used to serve in the military of Rajput kingdoms. And, many
Meena People fought against evil Muslum invaders.
NOTE: The history of Rajasthan does not tell in detail that evil Muslum invaders had
killed many Meena People during the time of 999-1203 ADE.
